The Super Duty® MOD1-A retains the proven performance and features of the Super Duty® MOD1 platform while incorporating fully ambidextrous controls. Users benefit from a system optimized for complete control in the most dynamic shooting conditions. The MOD1-A uses the same intuitive configuration found on the Geissele GFR and MRGG models, which are favored by elite professionals where efficiency and reliability are essential.

A magazine release button is located on the left side of the receiver, below the Maritime Bolt Catch, allowing left-handed shooters to change magazines quickly. On the right side are the bolt catch and release controls, positioned below the ejection port. The shooter can apply pressure to the bolt catch to lock the bolt open, while a release button located at the rear allows it to return quickly to the closed position. This intuitive system not only facilitates use for both right- and left-handed shooters but also improves mechanical flow under stress. Reloading and malfunction clearance are faster and more consistent, an essential feature in critical situations. Whether on the move or from a fixed position, all components work together to meet real-world demands in the field.

Both the Geissele CHF barrel and the Forged Stressproof Bolt® are high-pressure tested (HPT) and inspected using magnetic particle inspection (MPI), together contributing to exceptional reliability and match-grade accuracy. The Forged Stressproof Bolt® is made from Carpenter 158+ steel, developed in direct collaboration with Carpenter Steel specialists to achieve a cleaner material with fewer impurities. The result is a bolt that is stronger and more fatigue-resistant, with a service life up to five times longer than a standard mil-spec model.

The precisely tuned gas system, Super Compact gas block, and Super 42® braided buffer spring work together to reduce felt recoil while maintaining flawless cycling even in difficult conditions. The two-stage SSA-E X® trigger, with Lightning Bow® design and Nanoweapon® treated components, offers a crisp and predictable break for enhanced control. The MOD1-A model is also equipped with a HUXWRX Flash Hider-QD flash hider, compatible with the HUXWRX FLOW suppressor series for seamless integration.

Ergonomics and modularity are central elements of the MOD1-A design. The centrally mounted MK16 rail, B5 SOPMOD stock, and A17 grip provide improved maneuverability, while the stainless steel QD inserts and Geissele QD rear plate allow for various sling configurations.
