Description
Axion 2 uses a new image optimization approach based on observation goals and conditions, delivering high-quality rendering of both target objects and the background. Three levels of amplification combined with a smoothing filter and fine brightness and contrast adjustments offer hunters great opportunities for long-range animal detection in various weather and temperature conditions.
Axion is designed for constant, often heavy use. Its magnesium alloy housing is both lightweight and strong. The housing reliably protects the internal components of the thermal imaging device against shocks, drops, moisture, heat, and cold. At the same time, the metal housing efficiently dissipates heat from the electronics, minimizes image noise, and increases the device's operational consistency during long-term observation.
The Axion 2 monocular is equipped with European Lynred sensors with a resolution of 384x288 pixels (17 µm pixel size), which reliably capture useful signals in difficult observation conditions such as rain, fog, and high humidity at the observation site.
A high-capacity APS5 rechargeable battery provides up to 11 hours of continuous device operation on a single charge. The battery can be replaced with a new one in a few seconds. The APS5 charges in a special charger or inside the device from a PC, a household power supply, or a power bank via USB-C.
Use the brightness and contrast adjustments to maximize image detail and informational value in specific observation conditions. The User Mode saves the selected brightness and contrast settings in the device's memory, providing optimal image quality for immediate subsequent use of the thermal camera without requiring additional adjustments.
The built-in Wi-Fi module connects the Axion 2 PRO to Android and iOS smartphones via the Stream Vision 2 mobile app. This opens up a wide range of options, including software updates, real-time image transmission directly to the smartphone, publishing photo and video content captured by the device on social networks, remote device control, and access to the latest news from Pulsar. Furthermore, registered users receive 16 GB of cloud storage.
Axion 2 has a space-saving design and weighs only 300 grams. The device is easy to hold and operate for right-handed and left-handed users thanks to its symmetrical design and the linear arrangement of buttons on the top panel.
