Description

Axion 2 LRF XG35 is a thermal imaging camera from Pulsar that offers detailed images thanks to its 640 × 480 pixel resolution sensor. With a high frame rate of 50 Hz, the camera is comfortable and dynamic to use. LRF XG35 can detect an object at a distance of up to 1750 meters. It has an accuracy of +/-1m. The device can be safely used in rain or snow, having an IPX7 protection rating.

Integrated laser rangefinder

Understanding the target distance is an essential factor in making the right decisions. A built-in laser rangefinder with a range of up to 1 kilometer allows you to perform unique measurements in continuous scanning modes, with a precision of ±1 meter, for a quick and error-free assessment.

IPX7 protection rating

Axion 2 XG35 has an IPX7 protection rating, being protected against heavy precipitation and snow. The unit is designed to operate flawlessly, even after being submerged in up to 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes.

Stream Vision 2

The built-in Wi-Fi connects Axion 2 to Android and iOS smartphones through the Stream Vision 2 mobile app. This opens up a wide range of options, including device software updates, real-time transmission of images from the device to the smartphone screen, publishing photo and video content captured by the device on social networks, remote control of the digital device, and access to the latest news from Pulsar.

Detection distance

A powerful F35/1.0 objective combined with extremely sensitive thermal imaging sensors offers exceptional detection capabilities. A standard 1.8 m tall object can be detected at a distance of up to 1750 m in total darkness.

long range pulsar

Ultra-sensitive 12 µm sensor

The device comes equipped with a European Lynred sensor that has a resolution of 640 × 480 pixels, (with a pixel size of 12 µm). It captures a very good, high-quality signal in the most difficult observation conditions such as rain, fog, humidity, or high atmosphere.

Magnesium alloy housing

The device housing is designed from magnesium alloy, which ensures high structural rigidity, while maintaining low weight and ergonomics. The housing allows for the efficient dissipation of heat generated by the electronic components, protecting the device from overheating.

Image processing algorithms

Axion 2 XG35 comes with image optimization based on the purpose and observation conditions, thus offering a high-quality rendering of both the observed objects and the background. All this is possible with the help of the 3 levels of signal amplification and the smoothing filter combined with fine brightness and contrast adjustments.

Extended lifespan

The high-capacity APS5 battery ensures up to 7 hours of continuous thermal imaging camera operation on a single charge. The battery can be removed from the housing and replaced with a new one in a few seconds. It charges in the special charging unit or inside the device from a PC, a household power supply, or a power bank via USB-C.
